Salig er den mand som ikke vandrer i de ugudeliges raad. Ei heller staar paa synderens vei, ei heller sitter i spotteres sæde men hvis lust er til Herrens lov og som grunder paa hans lov dag og natt. Ti han skal være som et tre der er plantet ved vandbekken som giver sin frukt i sin tid og hvoraf ikke et blad affalder og alt hvad han jør skal han faa lykke til. Ammen


Blessed is the man who does not wander in the counsel of the ungodly, or neither stands on the sinner’s road, and neither sits in the chair of the spiteful, but whose desire is the law of the Lord and is founded on the law day and night.He shall be like a tree that is planted by the water brook who gives its fruit in its time and not a leaf falls off, and in all that he does, he will get happiness. Amen
