He married 1) Emma Mellinger Nov. 28, 1917 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri and 2) Eva Mae Batson, Sept. 12, 1939 at Rockport, Atchison Co., Missouri. She was born Dec. 24, 1921 at Darlington, Gentry Co., Missouri, daughter of Claudie Batson and Oma Davis, and died Feb. 2, 1994 in Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska.
