He married 1) Mary Turner, Feb. 4, 1866, Hendricks Co. Indiana and 2) Anna Haller, June 28, 1888, Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and 3) Elvira Loraine "Ella" Starling May 16, 1905. Mary Turner, daughter of James Turner and Anna Cavett, was born in 1847 in Hendricks Co., Indiana and died Feb. 28, 1886 in Clayton Twp., northeast of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
