Edward G. Medford was born about 1812 in Kent Co., Maryland and died Dec. 20, 1880 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. Source of date date: Headstones Provided for Deceased Union Civil War Veterans, 1879-1903. He married Dorinda Elizabeth Priest Dec. 24, 1849 in Cedar Co., Iowa.
