Password: (Required) test   Posted on Jan-14-2013 by MARSHA WRIGHT This "Unknown THOMAS" is the stone of Asenath (Butler) (Preston) Thomas. She was the widow of Asa Thomas at the time of her death at Jones County, Iowa. She died 4 April 1888. An earlier transcription of the stone is still able to be retrieved from the Way-Back machine. That transcription seems off by exactly one year; it reads, "Aschath THOMAS died April 4, 1889 aged 83 yrs" ht Marsha Wright may edit or delete this entry: Password: (I Forgot)
