He married 1) Margaret Coonan, Mar. 10, 1853 at Wellsville, Allegany Co., New York and 2) Jane E. Phelps in 1865 in Chautauqua Co., New York who died Feb. 18, 1874 and 3) Lydia Sophia Honeysett in 1875 in Chautauqua Co., New York, who survived him.
