Sarah "Sally" Odell Holmes was born May 26, 1827 in Crawford Co., Ohio, daughter of Philander Odell and Sarah Bacon, and died July 24, 1875 in Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Barrack or Darrack Dixon Holmes May 27, 1847 in Bucyrus, Crawford Co., Ohio.
