Alma McFarland, daughter of Orlando Hall McFarland and Mary Nixon, was born July 10, 1877 (her obituary gives the date as 1878) in Buchanan Twp., Page Co., Iowa and died Jan. 5, 1939 southwest of Siam in Buchanan Twp., Page Co., Iowa. She married Abraham Herbert Damewood June 1, 1898 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. He was born Feb. 25, 1874 in Page Co., Iowa, son of Nathan Harrison Damewood and Hannah Bebout, and died Feb. 16, 1958 in Buchanan Twp., Page Co., Iowa.
