Lula Blanche Graffis, daughter of Levi and Clara Graffis, was born Jan. 12, 1876 in Lee Co., Iowa, and died Jan. 17, 1960 at Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Robert Chalmers Griffith July 26, 1891 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born Feb. 15, 1868 near Conway, in Clayton Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Daniel Griffith and Roxanna Dilley, and died April 22, 1946 northeast of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.

Her father was not Levi but William Henry Harrison GRAFFIS. Her sister Myra's obit also mistakenly shows Levi as father. Their real father Wm. H. GRAFFIS was sent to prison in 1885 five years following the death of their mother. See 1880 & 1925 census.
