Charles Gibson Maxwell, son of Robert Maxwell and Charlotte Judd, was born Oct. 7, 1860 in Buchanan Twp., Page Co., Iowa and died June 15, 1945 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. He married Cynthia Ann Shearer Feb. 13, 1887. She was born Feb. 3, 1863 in Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of John Finley Shearer and Emeline Clarinda Jones, and died Dec. 15, 1926 at Braddyville, Page Co., Iowa.
