Curtis Shirk served his country during WW 1 and was gassed during this war. He was a unique person and a Great Uncle to me. I was fortunate to visit with him before his death and before I went to Viet Nam. He was a hero for serving and worked hard his whole life. It is an honor to be related to this kind gentle person.
