Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson Funeral Home, DeWitt, with a rosary and prayer service at 7 p.m.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt, with the Rev. Robert Harness officiating.
DEWITT — Blanche Margaret McDevitt Kagemann, 92, of DeWitt, died Sunday at West Wing Place, DeWitt.
Interment will be in Villa Nova Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 22, 1913, to Harry and Blanche McGarry McDevitt. She married Harry Kagemann on June 21, 1935, in Toronto. He died in 1991.
She graduated from Elvira High School.
She was a homemaker and then was employed in the kitchen at DeWitt Hospital. She later was the custodian at First Central State Bank.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt, and the church’s Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary (Mike) Gelaude of Delmar; seven sons, David (Sue) Kagemann of Low Moor, Alan (Gloria) Kagemann of DeWitt, Bill Kagemann of Lost Nation, Ed (Teresa) Kagemann of DeWitt, Paul (Lorraine) Kagemann of Dewitt, Jerry Kagemann of Clinton and Marty (Marita) Kagemann of Delmar; one sister, Mary Lola Wasson of DeWitt; one brother, Lawlor (Gwen) McDevitt of DeWitt; 25 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
