Mary Roberts was the mother of Caroline Roberts Euritt. When Francis Euritt died in 1862 during the civil war he left Caroline and four children. John R. married to Caroline's sister, Sarah Roberts Euritt, went to Virginia from Iowa to bring the family to Iowa. Mary Roberts came to Iowa with them. This was in 1862-1863.
