Caroline Matilda (Roberts) Euritt came to Iowa in 1862 with her children and mother(Mary Roberts) after her husband, Francis Euritt was killed in The Battle of Mcdowell, Mcdowell, Virginia, May 8, 1862. She was brought her by John R. Euritt her brother-in-law. Her son, Jno. John Minor was born in Virginia.
