Ezekiel was the son of Ezekiel Robinson & Catherine Bushman. He was born in New York State, February 26, 1840 and died at home in Dawson, Iowa, March 2, 1906, aged 66 years and 4 days. The deceased has suffered more than a year and has had the most tender and watchful care by his wife, sons and daughter. The end came peacefully when he was surrounded by the members of the immediate family.
When quite a little boy he removed from his native state to Illinois, where he lived till 1866 when he moved to Iowa. He was married to Miss Charlotte Wight May 17, 1851. Thirteen children were born to them, eight girls (Annie, Kate, Maria, Clara, Sarah, Bertha, Minnie & Alice) and five boys (Dennis, Andrew, Fred, John, & Jasper) all of whom survive him, his wife having died May 29, 1884. In 1886 he married Catherin Hall. In 1895 he removed with his wife to Indian Territory where he lived five years, when in 1900 he returned to Iowa and has made Dawson his home ever since. He leaves to mourn his departure his aged wife, 13 children, 42 grandchildren.
Ezekiel was a soldier in the Civil war enlisting in the service April 6, 1864, in Co E, 34th Illinois Volunteer Infantry. He served 11 months and 5 days when he was honorably discharged.

Charlotte was the daughter of Stephen Wight & Hannah Felt. She married Ezekiel Robinson. They had thirteen living children: eight girls (Annie, Kate, Maria, Clara, Sarah, Bertha, Minnie & Alice) and five boys (Dennis, Andrew, Fred, John, & Jasper). She died during a miscarriage in her 16th pregnancy.
