Died: December 21, 1990 in an automobile accident north of Mingo.
Son of David and Jane Ann Pirtle Faircloth.
He was married to Tamra M. Bingham July 16, 1989 in Grinnell.
Child: Jeffrey Scott Faircloth.
He attended high school in Aberdeen, Scotland, where he was a star member of the basketball team and was chosen to play on Scottish Championship Team, was graduate from the American School in Aberdeen, Scotland, and attended Greensboro, N. C., College.
Mr. Faircloth, formerly an employee of Brown's Shoe Fit in Grinnell, also had worked for Moorehead Construction Co. in Nevada and for Sedco Oil Co. in Scotland.
He was a member of the Grinnell Eagles and the Grinnell Jaycees.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Jeffrey Scott; his parents; a sister, Kimberly Faircloth of Fort Rucker, Ala.; a brother, Jeremy of Kellogg; a stepbrother, Jeffrey Faircloth of Cedar Rapids; and his grandparents, Earl and Joyce Faircloth of Kellogg.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Mary Pirtle.
