This stone marks the grave of Nancy (Houston) Sinkey, born 11/22/1817 in Licking County, Ohio. She was the wife of Mathew Sinkey b, 9/25/1808 in Huntingdon, PA.

Nancy's parents were Andrew Houston b. 1776 probably in PA and Elizabeth Green b. 1780 in Berkeley County VA, now WV.

Nancy's brother George Houston married Leah Stickley. Thomas Houston was thier son. Nancy's sister Sarah Houston married John Butt in Licking Couty, Ohio. Nancy's sister Isabella Jane Houston married Rolla Green. It is said that both Rolla and Isabella died in Jackson County, IA but their graves have not been found.

Rolla Green and wife Isabella Jane had a daughter named Clarissa Katherine. Clarissa first married Elijah Gould. She then married Morgan Green Butt. Morgan was born in Licking County, Ohio. His parents were Bazil Butt and wife Mahala Green. Bazil Butt was a brother to the above mentioned John Butt whose wife was Sarah Houston.
