Walnut Grove Cemetery is located in section 34 of Quincy Township in Corning, Iowa. "Courtship Land Records book 8, paage 39 shows that the land was deeded to the town of Corning by Anson H. and Alcesta G. SLEEPER (Wyoming Co., New York) on October 13, 1889, for use as a public cemetery.
