Pearson died 2-26-1880 aged 85 yr 9 mo. 25 d. The smaller white stone on the left is the gravestone of Maria (Weber) Pearson, first wife of George W. Pearson & the daughter-in-law of Richard & Mary Ann. ---------------------- Richard & Mary Ann were my ggg-grandparents. Originally from Delaware, they removed to Iowa in 1837/38. Richard served as one of the first probate judges in the territory.
