Eva Hough McCracken, daughter of Abram McCracken and Mary Ann Hough, was born Nov. 20, 1869 in Taylor Co., Iowa and died April 13, 1944 northeast of Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Robert Henry Akers May 18, 1898 in Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born Mar. 3, 1869 in Johnson Co., Iowa, son of Benjamin Franklin Akers and Harriet Josephine Bannister, and died July 22, 1955 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.
