She married William Per Pierson June 14, 1878 northwest of Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. Source of marriage date: Iowa, Marriages and Iowa, County Marriages. Her obituary gives the marriage date as June 20, 1878. He was born Nov. 7, 1856 in Ignaberga, Christiantad, Sweden, son of John Pierson (Swedish birth name Hans Pehrsson) and Bengta Olson (Swedish birth name Bengta Olsdr), and died June 24, 1945 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
