John Sullivan Stimson was born Feb. 28, 1835 in Springfield, Windsor Co., Vermont and died June 6, 1913 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Martha Elizabeth Truesdell April 27, 1862 at Harrisville, Marquette Co., Wisconsin.
