Catherine Maria Brown, daughter of John Brown and Rosena Lodema Frank, was born in Sept. 1857 in New York State and died in 1946 in Iowa. She married 1) Alvin Bedell Feb. 16, 1875 in Taylor Co., Iowa and 2) Albert Churchill Alvord April 26, 1881 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
