He was buried in St. Nazaire, France. The remains were later returned and reburied Oct. 3, 1920 in Washington Cemetery, Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.He married 1) Lottie Secord in 1915 and 2) Flossie Blanche Nott June 3, 1918. Flossie Blanche Nott, daughter of William Henry Harrison Nott and Sarah Jane Hinkle, was born Mar. 18, 1901 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Aug. 19, 1985 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa.
