He was buried in St. Nazaire, France. The remains were later returned and reburied Oct. 3, 1920 in Washington Cemetery, Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.He married 1) Lottie Secord in 1915 and 2) Flossie Knott June 3, 1918.
