Mary Halligan was born in Nov. 1860 in Iowa and died May 9, 1930 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Thomas Preston Jan. 14, 1880 in Muscatine Co., Iowa. He was born in Mar. 1857 in Illinois, son of James and Margaret Preston, and died Dec. 21, 1952 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
