William Martin was born Feb. 24, 1822 in Hamilton, Butler Co., Ohio and died June 29, 1913 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Catherine Headley April 18, 1844 in Parke Co., Indiana. She was born Nov. 10, 1822 in Parke Co., Indiana and died Mar. 11, 1907 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
