NEWELL CEMETERY
THIS PIONEER CEMETERY WAS ESTABLISHED IN THE 1840'S ON LAND HOMESTEADED BY THOMAS NEWELL. THE THOMAS UTTER FAMILY DONATED THE ADJOINING PARCEL OF LAND IN 2000. THE LOUISA-MUSCATINE FFA RETURNED IT TO IT'S ORIGINAL SETTING BY THE SEEDING OF WILD FLOWERS AND PRAIRIE GRASS
