She married Otto Woodyard on Sept 29, 1915 in Waterloo. He died in 1932. She married Louis C. Friedl on June 1, 1943. She was preceded in death by a son, Lt. Wayland Woodyard, who died in 1944 during World War II on Pelelui Island in the Pacific.
