Franklin Manley Waterman, son of Joseph Manley Waterman and Margaret Ann Van Reenen, was born April 26, 1880 east of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Sept. 5, in Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas. He married Amy N. Townsend Nov. 27, 1912 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. She was born Nov. 19, 1882 in Platteville, Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of William John Warwick Townsend and Rosetta Ellen Brott, and died July 12, 1977 in Lansing, Leavenworth Co., Kansas.
