Anna was the daughter of Anton Mett and Charlotte Lange. She immigrated in 1881. Anna married William Frederic Schwarck on 6 May 1883 in Eldora, Hardin, Iowa. They were the parents of Emma, Vevia Arvilla, Robert, Anna Ruth, Paul, Clarence, Francis Martha, and Jesse.
