Jeremiah was the son of John Sigler (1809 - 1874) & Rachel Hoskinson (1809 - 1881). He married Priscilla Matheny on October 25, 1880 in Carroll Co, Iowa. They were the parents of Ida, Mirtie, Fred, George, Charles, Harry, and William.
