Paul Clarence Thompson, son of Elmer Clarence Thompson and May Belle Wells, was born November 25, 1902 in Ross Twp., south of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died January 30, 1993 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Opal Marie Thummel February 27, 1926 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. Opal, the daughter of Augustus Thummel and Maria Linderman, was born June 21, 1904 near Parnell, Nodaway Co., Missouri and died March 12, 1994 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
