John Earl Marley, son of Oron Lafayette Marley and Elizabeth Caroline Richardson,was born July 22, 1888 on a farm southwest of Bedford, Taylor Co, Iowa and died July 25, 1965 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Stella McElfish April 10, 1922, in Cheyenne, Laramie Co., Wyoming. She was born May 21, 1891 in Worth Co., Missouri, daughter of Joseph McElfish and Mary Geneva Crawford, and died June 16, 1982 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa.
