Charles H. Davis, son of Isaac and Rebecca Davis, was born in 1835 in Vermont and died before Aug. 21, 1888 (date on the contract for his military headstone provided for deceased Union Civil War Veterans). He married Charlotte A. Hill Feb. 19, 1857 at Burke, Dane Co., Wisconsin.
