John Townsend Fitch was born Dec. 10, 1842 in Maryland and died Dec. 24, 1900 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Sarah Jane Bray April 18, 1866 in Jefferson Co., Iowa. She was born April 4, 1844 in Hendricks Co., Indiana, daughter of Jeremiah Bray and Emma Hadley, and died Feb. 13, 1919 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
