He married Edith Buchanan Oct. 6, 1909 at Clearfield, Taylor Co., Iowa . She was born Oct. 3, 1889 in Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Theodore Calhoun Buchanan and Eudora Darlington, and died Mar. 12, 1976 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo Co., New Mexico.
