David Bailey, son of David Bailey, Sr. and Alice Wickersham, was born Nov. 28, 1836 near Salem, Columbiana Co., Ohio and died July 14, 1928 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary L. Garrigues July 27, 1865 in Columbiana Co., Ohio. He enlisted as a Private in Co. D, 115th Ohio Infantry Regiment Sept. 18, 1862 and was mustered out June 22, 1865 at Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
