Jesse Minor, son of Samuel Pierson Minor and Louisa Long, was born Jan. 27, 1853 in Greene Co., Pennsylvania and died Aug. 26, 1926 in Diagonal, Ringgold Co., Iowa. He married Olive Independence Simms Dec. 24, 1878 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
