Practical furrier; manufacturer & dealer in furs, 590 Main street, Dubuque; was born in Eastern Prussia, 12-26- 1825; he grew up to manhood and served apprenticeship & learned the trade of furrier; he emigrated to the United States in 1855, & worked at his trade in New York and Boston; in 1860, he came to Iowa and settled in Dubuque, & began working at his trade; he engaged in business Con't.
