Myrtle Ruth Slattery, daughter of William J. Slattery and Mary Katherine Borngesser, was born July 9, 1893 near Diagonal, Ringgold Co., Iowa and died Nov. 9, 1921 at Forsyth, Rosebud Co., Montana. She married Frank Gilpon Ecklin Feb. 19, 1911 at Diagonal, Ringgold Co., Iowa.
