William H. Cooper was born Dec. 14, 1848 in Donington, Lincolnshire, England (his obituary gives the date as 1849) and died April 19, 1912 in Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Ellen McCausland Dec. 6, 1876 at Sublette, Lee Co., Illinois. See separate entry under his name for a photo of the family plot.
