To America 1850, to Paint Creek 1851. Ten children: Anne Marie, Johan, Martha, Karen, Inger, Hans, Anette, Caroline, Henrietta. Martin. Left Norway on the sailship "Christiania" from the port of Drammen in the beginning of June 1850 with wife and children, the youngest (Inger) was only 5 weeks old.
