He married Geneva Gail Reece May 5, 1917 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born April 6, 1896 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of George Reece and Eva May Spencer, and died July 30, 1992 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
