Jerome was the son of Allen Truesdell and Maria A. Davis. He married Hattie Brocker on 2 OCT 1899 in Greene county, Iowa. They were the parents of Myrtle, Bert, Lester, Harry, and Floyd. After Jerome's death Hattie married Ray C. Booth on 4 May 1918 in Carroll, Carroll, Iowa.
