Jehiel Gregory Watkins, son of Isaiah Watkins and Mary Douglas, was born Mar. 26, 1816 in Athens Co., Ohio and died Mar. 26, 1897 in Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Susanna McGlothlan Feb. 3, 1837 in Peoria Co., Illinois and 2) Frances Monger Keenan Aug. 22, 1857 in McDonough Co., Illinois.
