JACOB GOSDEN, farmer and veterinary surgeon, Sec. 7; P.O. Cascade; born near London, England, June 22, 1817; came to America and settled in Dubuque Co., Iowa, in May 1852; his farm consists of 220 acres in Secs. 7, 8 and 18, Whitewater Township, and Secs. 12 and 13, Cascade Township; his farming business includes the raising of stock of all kinds, and he has an unequaled reputation as a Con't.
