John Shriver Stephens, son of Andrew Jackson Stephens and Elizabeth Shriver, was born Aug. 12, 1877 near Guss, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Sept. 10, 1963 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. He married 1) Della Bertha Thomas Feb. 1, 1900 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa and 2) Bertha Belle Gray Jan. 29, 1927 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.
