Magdalena married Jurgens Hargens about 1875 in Germany. They were the parents of two sons and two daughters: Heinrich, William, Anna, Minnie. He died in 1881 in Germany and she immigrated in 1883. Magdalena married Peter Reimers on May 21, 1885. They were the parents of a daughter, Catharine, who died from diphtheria in 1893.
