Lydia or Elydia Bills, daughter of Joshua Bills and Lucinda Crowley, was born April 9, 1797 in Groton, New London Co., Connecticut (her birth place is given as both New York, 1850 federal census and Connecticut, 1870 federal census) and died June 2, 1881 in Gay Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Levi P. Sylvester Aug. 3, 1817 in Butler Co., Ohio. Birth date calculated using Tombstone Calculator.
